Our house is only a week old and already a major issue at the village gossip. Our neighbors were all nice, but there are also opposing voices in the village. Statements such as "gruusiges Huus" (in German: horrible house) were killed. A resident of our village, the amateur artist, gave us a guardian angel and a heart made of wood past (which we found very nice) and read on this occasion the same show the house. The significance of his statement "With this umbrella, you have two full floors at a low ridge height. Do not understand all this" we have later understood. The roof shape will be our offensive, we thought, and realized during the meeting of the Technical Committee of our community through appropriate responses.
When times have all become used to the sight, then it will be quiet again.
However, we allow about other village gossip, if our house gets the final touch.
